I actually found Ozark Mountain Mama looking for baby shoes, and boy does she make some cute ones. She also had interlock on sale, and I’m a try it all kind of person when it comes to wool, so I helped myself to two pairs of bubble shorties.

I think all of her instock shorties are bubble style, which is the cutest style anyway. I bought a pair in 6-9 months (blue) and 12-24 months (gray and black). Kai can still wear both pairs and she normally wears a 2T. These do run big! She didn’t fit into the 12-24 month pair until she was wearing 18 month pants.

The shorts are soft and squishy interlock, and are well dyed. I’ve gotten little to no dye run off when washing, which I can’t say about all the interlock I’ve tried. They are serged inside using white thread, and it is very professionally done, no hanging threads or weird hems. They are also perfect bubbles, not too flouncy, but not tight around chunky thighs, either.

Ozark Mama Mountain only carries a few instock colors of interlock wool, but my blue pair was a custom dye job. She was great to work with, shipped fast, and I’m still in love with the shorts nine months later!
